The “no-touch” needle design offers a safe storage system for shipping, removal, replacement, and disposal of used needles that work with the SafeTacher™ Tag Tool. The handling procedure eliminates human contact with the needle, starting with a carrier “tube” that houses a new needle in one end with a protective cap and a receptacle in the other for the used needle. The enclosed needle end is inserted into the SafeTacher™ Tag Tool body opening, and the carrier tube is quickly withdrawn from the body — preventing contact with the needle! Both ends of the tube are designed to friction fit the needle shaft and safely remove the used needle from the Tag Tool body. The carrier tube and used needles may be safely discarded into a designated receptacle or returned to ADCO for proper recycling. (16 needles per box)
